My Own Pythonland

Commentator: This morning, shortly after eleven o’clock, comedy struck this little house in Dibley. Sudden. Violent. Comedy.

Lately, I have been talking a lot to by husband about everything…so much that he gets a rare chance to talk! He probably has got tired of my incessant chatter…

I thought that I should channel my verbal energies someplace else…

BBC Voiceover: The BBC would like to apologize for the next announcement.

Hence, this blog …my own Pythonland for me to horse about.

Why Pythonland one may ask… Well, it was inspired by one of my favorite shows on the telly.. Monty Python…Like the show, this blog will have no real theme but is going to be full of seemingly silly or funny or intelligent 😉 or informative sketches and will hopefully carry a stream of consciousness.
Main Entry: stream of consciousness
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: word association
Synonyms:
apostrophe, aside, association of ideas, chain of thought, free association, inner monologue, interior monologue, mind mapping, train of thought, word painting

Here is something from the good ol’ masters of lunacy…with a stream of consciousness….Monty Python’s Flying Circus….

King Arthur: I am your king!
Woman: Well I didn’t vote for you!
King Arthur: You don’t vote for kings.
Woman: Well how’d you become king then? (Angelic music plays…)
King Arthur: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. That is why I am your king!
Dennis: (interrupting) Listen, strange women lyin’ in ponds distributin’ swords is no basis for a system of government! Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony!

Something for all to think about!
